How to apply Band Wipe - Zig Zag HD
- Put the two clips on separate layers so they overlap in time.
- Select the upper layer and move the playhead to where the transition should start.
- Open Window › Effects & Presets, paste the name in the search box and double-click Band Wipe - Zig Zag HD.
Press U on the layer to see the keyframes, and drag the last one to change how long the transition lasts. To play it backwards, select the keyframes, right-click and choose Keyframe Assistant › Time-Reverse Keyframes.
Where is Band Wipe - Zig Zag HD in After Effects?
Open Window › Effects & Presets and go to Animation Presets › Transitions - Wipes. It is quicker to type the name in the search box at the top of the panel.
