How to apply Card Wipe - 2D fractured
- Put the two clips on separate layers so they overlap in time.
- Select the upper layer and move the playhead to where the transition should start.
- Open Window › Effects & Presets, paste the name in the search box and double-click Card Wipe - 2D fractured.
Press U on the layer to see the keyframes, and drag the last one to change how long the transition lasts. To play it backwards, select the keyframes, right-click and choose Keyframe Assistant › Time-Reverse Keyframes.
Where is Card Wipe - 2D fractured in After Effects?
Open Window › Effects & Presets and go to Animation Presets › Transitions - Movement. It is quicker to type the name in the search box at the top of the panel.
