How to apply RingingPhone-US
- Make a new solid (Layer › New › Solid) and select it.
- Open Window › Effects & Presets, paste the name in the search box and double-click RingingPhone-US.
- Press the . key on the numeric keypad to hear an audio-only preview.
The sound is made by the Tone effect, so no audio file is needed. Change pitch and level in the Effect Controls panel.
Where is RingingPhone-US in After Effects?
Open Window › Effects & Presets and go to Animation Presets › Sound Effects. It is quicker to type the name in the search box at the top of the panel.
Do I need to download RingingPhone-US?
No. It is installed with After Effects; this preview was rendered in After Effects 2026. On disk it is an .ffx file in the Presets › Sound Effects folder inside the After Effects application folder.
