How to apply Box - dashed lines
- Click an empty part of the timeline so that no layer is selected.
- Open Window › Effects & Presets and paste the name in the search box.
- Double-click Box - dashed lines. A new shape layer appears with the preset on it.
Open the shape layer's Contents in the timeline. Fill, stroke, size and position are normal shape-layer properties.
Where is Box - dashed lines in After Effects?
Open Window › Effects & Presets and go to Animation Presets › Shapes › Sprites - Still. It is quicker to type the name in the search box at the top of the panel.
Do I need to download Box - dashed lines?
No. It is installed with After Effects; this preview was rendered in After Effects 2026. On disk it is an .ffx file in the Presets › Shapes › Sprites - Still folder inside the After Effects application folder.
How do I change Box - dashed lines after applying it?
Open the shape layer's Contents in the timeline. Fill, stroke, size and position are normal shape-layer properties.
